The 2008 Laureates have been announced…

The 2008 Laureates were announced on October 17 at the Annual Global Meeting of the Women’s Forum in Deauville, France. Mame Diene from Senegal was nominated Laureate for Africa for her organic skincare products. Renee King and her team from the Philippines won the Award for Asia with Tamang Timpla Foods. Laura Chicurel received the trophy for Europe.

And finally, the Awards Ceremony ended with a moving speech by Mona Jhaveri, Laureate North America and Founder of the biotechnology company Foligo Therapeutics. The Laureates received funding of US$ 20,000, networking and visibility opportunities and, most importantly, personalized business coaching for one year.
