The 2010 Laureates have been announced…
The 2010 Laureates were announced on October 14 at the Annual Global Meeting of the Women’s Forum in Deauville, France. 27 year-old Ann Kihengu, nominated Laureate for Africa, was the first to receive her trophy, followed by Gouthami from India, Wendy McMillan from
Europe, Valentina Peroni from Latin America and Birame Sock from North America. Each of these budding entrepreneurs received funding of US$ 20, 000, networking and visibility opportunities and, most importantly, personalized business coaching for one year.
The Award Week
Every year, the finalists who pass the first round of the competition gather in France for a full week of activities and to participate in the ultimate phase of the Awards.
