Overview
Our regional and thematic awards recognize and fund talented impact entrepreneurs from around the world who are leveraging business as a force for good.
A Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award was created in 2023 to encourage entrepreneurial solutions designed to close gaps of access, outcome or opportunity for communities that have been underrepresented or underserved. While the other regional and thematic awards of the Cartier Women’s Initiative focus on supporting women, this pilot award is open to all genders.
The next call for applications will open from April 18 to June 25, 2025.

Thematic Awards
Thematic awards are open to impact entrepreneurs from any country and sector. For each edition, three fellows will be selected for each of the two thematic awards below:
SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY PIONEER AWARD
Launched in 2021 and open to women impact entrepreneurs from any country and sector, this award highlights disruptive solutions built around unique, protected, or hard-to-reproduce technological or scientific advances.
DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION AWARD
Open to all genders, this new thematic award has been created for the 2023 edition to encourage entrepreneurial solutions designed to close gaps of access, outcome or opportunity for communities that have been underrepresented or underserved.
