Christopher Aw is a partner at Argonautic Ventures and is an advisor at a private Single Family Office. He supports private investment, structuring, and partnerships. Additionally, he invests in early-stage technology companies that are revolutionizing traditional industries. He also continues to consult for nations, venture capital firms, and conglomerates in multiple areas of technology and investments.
He served in the United States Air Force in technology and intelligence fields both operationally and in research and development. He has worked at a US government think tank supporting the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence in a $20B annual investment vehicle evaluating technology investments across multiple disciplines. Subsequently, he founded his own companies in cyber security and technology consulting.
Chris is on the board of Operation Snow Leopard which focuses on supporting the evacuation and ongoing support of Afghanistan refugees. He is also on the Veterans in Media and Entertainment advisory board, which supports military veterans in the film and entertainment industries.
He volunteers with programs that support female entrepreneurs such as Beyond The Billion, the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards, and Women In Tech (WIT). He is particularly interested in companies in renewable energy, water, waste management, food, and health.
His education includes a BA in Business (Information Systems) from the University of Washington, an MS in Information Systems from Bowie State University, an MBA from the University of Maryland, an Asset Management program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business School, and a Public Policy program from Harvard University.
